530 jobs to be created as UKs largest-ever cold storage facility gets go-aheadHow the new facility will look
Magnavale, the temperature-controlled storage firm, has secured both planning and funding to build a single, fully automated cold store with a capacity of 96,000 pallet spaces.Magnavale says the store, in Easton, Lincolnshire will be the largest ever built in the UK, and will not only be Europe’s most efficient cold storage facility, but also run entirely on renewable energy.Construction of the project will create 230 jobs over two years, while a further 300 jobs will be created on a permanent basis to operate the facility.
